Full job description

Owing to a retirement, Pfeil & Sons, Printers of Vellhausen has a vacancy for the post of Typesetter, apprenticeship. You will set type by hand and machine, correct proofs and lock up the formes. The first three months are a trial period on full pay.

Requirements

Applicants should have passed the leaving examination in arithmetic and composition. The apprenticeship lasts three years. Candidates must have served an apprenticeship in the composing room. A certificate of good conduct from the local police station is required before engagement.

What the employer offers

1,650 marka a month, paid monthly in arrears. The post carries a pension, sick pay from the first day and a travel allowance for those living outside Vellhausen.
